HeliPlug is a soft, white, pliable, nonfriable sponge indicated for application to moist or bleeding clean oral wounds created during oral surgery, to control bleeding and protect the surface from further injury. Topical administration of HeliPlug directly over the wound effectively controls bleeding usually in two to five minutes.
